TS-950sdx SDXCC 6Kc TX Unit

Learning to Program in C!

We've received the PIC Microprocesor Programmer and Debugger at the Voodoo-LABS.
Now that it's here, we've got to learn how to program the rascal in C.
As we said before, it's a slow process ... but it'll be worth the wait!
We've got allot of projects in work, but
The Voodoo-LABS will be devouted to the SDXCC project in the summer months,
so it looks like production will be later in the year.

PIC Microprocesor Programmer is on order!

We've gotten the PIC Microprocesor Programmer and Debugger on order
and that should be ariving at the Voodoo-LABS before to long.
Once that equipment gets here, we have to
implement the programing and debug the hardware on the Prototype unit.
It's evolving, but it's slow.
We'll keep ya'll updated on its progress,
It looks like early next year before it will be ready for production.

Is it done yet?!

Not yet, but it is definitly a reality.
Voodoo-LABS has broken the DSP codes on the Kenwood TS-950sdx!
The Research Phase of this project has been completed.
We are now in the Development phase.

We have definitly gotten the TS-950sdx out to 6.7Kc on the Transmitter.
This is SSB, and it is just as clean as the original bandwidth.
In fact, with the unit we are developing,
absolutly NO loss of funtionality with the original TX bandwidth will occur.

The SDXCC Unit is an outboard unit with a switch on it.
With the switch engaged,
the SDX will TX at a SSB Bandwidth of 6Kc.
With the switch disengaged,
all the original TX Bandwidth Menu Fucntions for the
SDX Unit will be available.

The SDXCC Unit will be powered by the SDX rig.
So no power supply connection is needed.
There will be a cable that interfaces with the
DSP Connectors in the rear of the SDX.

Ya'll keep checkin back and We'll keep posting the progress.
Take Care!!
