Hello

I would like if possible to give me a hand with the audio connection on the back of my Ts-590. I wonder how it is done and if you need to do some internal changes or not as the Ts-870.

Thank you 73's

Greetings. There is a cable for the acc2 port you can get on e-bay: Kenwood Interface Adapter DC-02P. I use one on my 870. Works great! No hassles trying to solder up one yourself. Menu settings as follows: 27 & 28 set your TX bandwidth, 63 set to ACC2 (should be set already by default), 66 sets the input level (default is 4 but adjust for proper ALC). Hopes this helps and I just realized this was an old post so maybe this info will be useful to someone else using the 590. 73.

Howdy Dirtyjob,
Great to have you on the forum!!!

We're glad the info helped you out. That's the main reason this forum was created was to build an information database over the years.
Take care,

Hello all

I have the Kenwood Interface Adapter DC-02P but when I plug it into the back of the acc2 port and turn on the Kenwood TS-590s the speaker makes like a machine gun sound and sounds like ther's a conflict.

Has anyone else had this problem and could suggest something to help fix it please.

Many thanks

Bob

Hello all

All fixed, it was a short on the ground pin 4, had to re-solder it working 100% now Smile

Cheers
