YAESU FT 1000 MP (NOT MARK V, NOT "D", NOT FIELD)

Post by dascox71 »

Hi to all and sorry for my english.
I'm the lucky owner of a Yaesu ft 1000 mp, 100 watts, not mark v.

I'd like to know if there is any hidden menu to have a better sounding audio... because I would prefer not to open the radio.
I've already modified the menù 8-9, 5-9 (6 khz), 7-7 (100-3100), but I'd like more... sound...
I remember my ts 870 long time ago, and it sounded better in tx.

Thank you for your suggestions...

Howdy & welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately, we don't think there are any secret or hidden Menu's to help you on the MP.

We are not 100% sure on this though, anyone out there that has had an MP know for sure?? Mike, W5CUL???

If I remember correctly, you have to press the FAST, LOCK and POWER at the same time. Here is a hyper-link to a webpage that provides all the menus to include the additional menus you will gain access to by following that combination: http://www.va3cr.net/1000mp/Tips/Materi ... ttings.htm
