hi all just wanted to let ya all know the ts-870 will do 7k wide with a mod and using a unique method that a friend of mine used with his ts-2000.
This method is easier on the 2000 as the radio does not need to be altered at all, how ever the ts-870 does require internal mods to do this.

We are working always on improved methods etc, and there shall be a full breakdown off mod put together and some audio clips available for everyone to have a listen to.
