Hi,
I would like to experiment with my Icom 735 to widen it up a bit to at least 3k if not more. Can it be done? Has anyone tried? is there a way to feed audio through the acc2 port?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy Ed,
Welcome to the Forum!!!
Unfortunately, almost all Icom Transceivers are limited to a brick wall 2.9kc Transmit Bandwidth and there is nothing you can do to circumvent this. Even feeding audio thru the ACC2 Port will not help.
Even though you are limited to 2.9kc, you should be able to get some very nice audio out of the rig if EQ'd properly.
Take Care,
