I can't find the Drawmer three sum any where!
I making a decision to buy the Drawmer s3 fet stereo compressor.
do you know the setting for this unit?
any advise will help.

Howdy WB2WW,

The Three Sum is a very hard unit to find. Unfortunately they were discontinued a few years back. They show up on eBay a few times a year, but have not seen them anywhere else.

The S3 Fet Multi-Band compressor looks very interesting. It is basically the same thing as the Three Sum but with built in FET Compressors. The set up would basically be the same as the Three Sum or any other Multi-Band compressor arrangement.

Let us all know about that unit if you decide to get it. A nice review on it and it's performance would be very much appreciated.

and yes! I purchase the unit yesterday....
I should be getting the delivery by Thursday.
I will be working with this unit through the weekend!
set up will be done one step at a time to insure max performance..

I will post my review when I get the sweet spot sound..
also will engage the Aphex 622..with the rest of my new Bellari equipment and some Behringer to help finish my set up.. Just missing the Bellari rp533.

The predecessor of the Drawmer S3 FET was very interesting for ESSB purposes as well I guess: http://www.drawmer.com/products/signatu ... ressor.php
8 times the ECC83 in this beauty the 5751 black plates would fit very nicely in the ECC83 sockets. Hope the S3 FET version will give you fine results as well.
