Hi all, very interested in reading about ESSB and it has inspired me to get involved. Im not sure if i am doing things right but i am spending hours in the shack with this and its giving me a headache. I would very much appreciate help in the order of equipment involved, connection of the XLR cables and maybe some general settings for the equipment involved. Thanks all, this is what i have.

KENWOOD TS-870 WITH THE C131 CAP MOD USING THE REAR ACC2 PORT.
SENNHEISER E815 MIC
BEHRINGER DSP110 FEEDBACK DESTROYER
BEHRINGER DSP2024 VIRTUALIZER PRO
BEHRINGER MDX2200 COMPOSER.

ONCE AGAIN HELP IS APPRECIATED

Thanks mike for the reply, i am not using an EQ! do you know anything about using both channels with the 2024 or MDX2200??

Well, the 2200 could be used for compression on one channel and noise gaiting with the other but your DSP 110 already has a noise gait in it. The 2024 has many features but used for the plating effect and both channels are tied together. How to do that is explained in the Studio X audio racks section. Why no EQ ?

Hi Mike, where do i find Studio X audio racks section??
My EQ is a modified 9band pioneer wiithout XLR connectors last to enter the radio, so i would not really class it as rack EQ which is what i need next.

I use the DEQ2496. You might try the DSP1124. I am not sure if it is still in production but they are available on Ebay.
