Some Advice Appreciated

Post by ei9gwb »

Hi Again,
im still fighting with setting up all pieces to work OK.

Connection looks like :

B-1
Shark DSP 110
EQ PEQ 2200
ULTRAFEX 3000
DIBOX

FT-950

There is just one small issue , when running TRX with 5 watts audio is like should be, but after raising up power up to 100W , audio going to overdrive . I try drop the mic gain , make a less mic power on DSP 110
also on EQ. But then Audio loosing a magic.
I know that can be stupid question , but im totally new in this.
Looking for some advice , Ideas , Help .
Regards
Arek

Greetings Arek.As a previous owner of the 950,sounds like like RF and they are known for having issues with this(mic jack not grounded to the chassis of the radio). How is the cable wired to the mic connector?.Also, are you using the DIBOX to reduce the audio from your rack gear(line level to mic level)?Do you have any audio issues just using the hand mic into the radio?Just a suggestion, you may want add a compressor in your rack lineup.

Hello Mike,

First of all thank You for answer,
Just a few minutes ago , i change dibox fonr another one , and looks like everything back to normal.
now just little issue with ALC , going tiny bit to high in voice peaks, but probably more setting will fix that problem.

I hope.

Regards
Arek
