help me have good audio

All I can say is wow I happened to listen in on the audio of one of the voodoo setups and it is unreal.
I know I cannot get quite 4k out of my icom 756 pro ii so I know that some of the equipment that you guys run may be over kill for my setup so I would like some feed back from you guys before I start blindly investing in an audio rack.
I have a pr40 with a behringer 802 going into the 756 also a pro set 3 into the mixer as well for DX.
What would you get that would help bring out what I have? my voice is not to squeeky and I do have abit of a low to my voice and everyone says it sounds good but I want better!!!
Someday I will be getting a rig that will be 4k so I know I want to be somewhat ready.
