TS870S + TLM103 - Advice for Good Rack

Hi from Steve at downtown Vortex Antenna Systems.
Apart from playing with antennas most days, I share a passion with the mystic world of Voodoo audio.

I’ve had an FT1000MP for quite a few years with a few black box add-ons, but am now making a deeper plunge into Voodoo waters. Next week I get my ‘Nearly New’ but mint TS870SAT.

I have a W2IHY 8 band EQ and EQ plus, also a Heil Goldline GM5 and a Neumann TLM103.

Would like to start putting a nice rack system together so no problem to shift items not required and to gather other goodies as needed.

A ‘Lo-cost’ starter kit is not my priority, so I wouldn’t be looking at the budget end of the scale – more mid to hi end stuff.

I’d like to use the TLM103 as a starter as it’s my favourite mic and has a wonderful bottom end, but I’m looking for advice on the best way forward. Looking at Benringer’s site the DSP1124 is still around but that unit was mentioned on this forum a few years back so maybe the outboard gear has moved on since then. I’d like to push to 4 kHz or may be a little more if possible.

I’ll do the ACC2 Cap mod as I’m fine with working on radios and from the online info you need to feed this baby from the rear end to avoid the distortion issues.

Any advice welcome on what would be required to produce the end goods.
