The Behringer SX3040

Post by gregor49 »

Hello all,

I have just purchased and tested one of these units and i have to say its superb.

My EX3200 just 'stopped' working, and cause very narrow audio along with running red hot.

I was going to buy another 2nd hand, but decided to take a gamble on this unit.

I think my audio is better and have been told the same. I am using both channels, 1 feeding into 2. I patched both channels with a mono as a test, but it wasnt as good as being patched with a stereo lead.

Does anyone share my delight with this unit, or are there those who disagree??

Hi gregor jon here well im testing the 3040 right now ive had it bout 3 days,so far not to bad,for 80-90 bucks its a great replacement for the 3200,BUT so far its a little noisy and it creats alot of essssy noise that can be corraled with a good de-esser ive so far tried several set ups on the 3040 and had it close to my 3200 and have had a few good reports, the best way i feel is dont tell anyone you have it in line,in other words dont say you took out the 3200 and see if anyone notices the change, the people i talk to would really hear it,anyway im going to give it a good test to really see waht it can do 2 weeks or so and i will re-post so far its ok BUT so far its missing that sound that the 3200 gives you BUT stay tuned...
may you always have what you want but never want for anything, does that make sence???
