Hi all.
A great forum you have here. I am looking some advice from you seasoned eSSB vets.
I have a rode broadcaster going into a mdx4600 then to a geq1502 then to Ultrafex pro then to ch2 of Mdx4600 then to iplus then to the front of my 756pro. Is there any advantage in this radio of using the acc socket, ie filters not there. I know there are no mods for this radio. I was wondering if the acc bypassed anything that I could use to my advantage. And if so which pins should I wire the mike into??
Hope you can help.
Thanks guys.
Great forum.
Regards
Greg.

You will gain about 20-30hz extra low end response using the acc1 socket, but the high end will not change as it`s brickwalled to 2.9khz.W2IHY makes a cable to interface the I-plus to acc1 port(balanced modulator cable).

If you refer to page 13 of the manual it shows the connections to the 8 pin acc1 port(balanced modulator)but it should be something like this:
mic+ to pin 4 of 8 pin din plug
mic- and shield(ground)to pin2 of 8 pin
ptt to pin 3 of 8 pin
You can always call Julius if this is incorrect.
