Well the settings I discussed in my other thread didnt work as I still had some very minor tearing. It appears this has been an issue with the Flex 5000 for a long long time.
However I did finally find the fix !!
Set the mixer slider all the way to max, the Mic gain in the software to zero and set your TX Meter set on mic to -2 to 0 by using the external mic gain. Works flawlessly with absolutely no tearing or abnormalities...

Recordings done at 3k, 4k, and 5k .. Sounds pretty damn good even if I say so myself.

The recordings from the U-tube links are not good enough quality for sonic analysis. There are some digital artifacts present in the upper mid and high frequencies and we can't ascertain if it is from the audio compression or if it is real time in the actual audio.
If you could get someone that has a good flat receiver to record you off air would be the best way. If the station makes the recordings with good enough quality, and EXACTLY on your frequency, then we could post them to this forum for everyone to listen.
