Hello radio friends! Has anyone tried the Aphex 230?
Found this link on Youtube. Maybe something to try with my Flex-5000A, or do you have any other suggestions to the Flex-5000?
I'm running today a rack of Behringer stuff, but thought to try something new

Run into your question, better late than never, ha, ha.
I use an Aphex 230 it replaced my Symetrix 528E (528E is now in use on my 2/70 Icom 910 via Ibox into the rig, works fine) The 230 works nice, Big Bottom gives a lot of bottom indeed. Use a tube preamp (RP520) and compressor/limiter (RP583) as well, that end signal goes into the 230 and that end signal into the back of the TS-870.

In my opinion: the bit in the video where he demonstrates that you can talk into the mike from every angle/every strength/loudness and the sound stays the same: that looks better on video than here in the shack/real life.
