Runnin' What I Got

I can't decide if this VOODOO is magic or a spell. Ya hear it and it does something to you. I think it affects your mind when you hear it!

Had some gear given to me from an old pa system that was upgraded. Started with a Behringer Eurorack UB802 and a RadioShack (33-3043) microphone. Then the spell....Stuff in the garage doing nothing....

So have been playing with this non-standard stuff and want to know opinions and the usual newbie stuff that I have read about...You know...Approval is what everyone seeks here. I can take the critique!

Items are hooked up in order listed. Had a ground problem and tracked that down. sounds good into the headphones. Really pounds the ALC on the FT-847 thru the front mic jack. Behringer installed to limit this till I find out how deep I want to get into this.

Where and when is everyone on the radio?

We guess CCR sung it best with there song "I put a Spell on You" when it comes to how the Voodoo Audio will capture ya!

Sounds like you are on the way to a very fun aspect of this hobby.
As you read and research, you will find that all this equipment is used to give the best sonic BALANCE in the available Transmit Bandwidth your using.

One of the most important things is to STAY OUT OF THE ALC! You want to adjust your audio gain for maximum power but at MINIMUM ALC. This will help you to keep the transmitted signal clean.
