Please help me and my sound

Post by IZ7EUD »

Hi dear Voodoo forum,

I love the vooodoooo sound and I want to know the order of the following rack, and all your suggestions and opinions to start:

- AKG C2000B microphone;
- Behringer VX2000;
- Behringer DSP 1124 (to use or not to use?);
- Behringer DEQ 2496;
- Behringer EX 3200 (not modified);
- Behringer T1952;
- W2IHY The-Box;
- Kenwood TS 2000.

With these racks I feel my sound is not good. So I ask your help and all your suggestions about the order rack , to use left channel and right channel, parameters., etc., etc .. I thank all those who want to help me. I hope to receive soon your answers. Best regards IZ7EUD Mauro

Howdy Mauro !!
Welcome to the forum!!!

Right now the best thing to do is try and learn about each piece of equipment and what it does to the audio mix.
Once you do this it will tell you where in the audio chain it should be.
One of the best websites to learn from is John's, NU9N.
http://www.nu9n.com/
His site will tell you what each piece does and how to basically set it up.
You can also look back on the threads in this forum and there are descriptions from the mic to the radio on how and what to set up.
So, research, research, research and learn all you can.

The order we would try it in is like so:

AKG C2000B Microphone
VX2000 for preamp and downward expansion
DEQ 2496
EX3200
T1952
I-Box
TS-2000

That would be a good order to try first.
