Greetings.Go to w3oz.com and click the enhanced ssb audio portion.
There are some suggestions that might help.He uses a ProIII and I have heard him on 14.178 and sounds great.Hope this helps.

There are a number of attractive sounding PROIII's out and Larry's is definitely one of them, if not the best I used to hear. Not VooDoo quality, but still comfy to listen to.

**I still prefer his 850/100 sound--freakin' AWESOME!!!

Greetings.Glad that it is working for you.Very true that what works for one person does not work for everyone.NU9N.com has some 2496 set up info too.Have fun!

*Note: Heard a 746PRO a couple weeks ago on 40Mtrs...and I was floored. Especially since I was listening thru one of the streaming audio receivers online. This dude had really smoooooth audio--too bad I didn't get his call to look him up.*
