Hi everyone,
do any of you know if IC-7851 is suitable for essb? Like any Icom, the tx filter has only 100 Hz to 2900 Hz.
I will be grateful for your response.

Hi,

The beste is to have wider TX band width like 4khz and the best is around 6Khz for real Voodoo sound.
So for ESSB sound you can do but is not the full sound like the old Icom who gets TX off 6/7Khz band width.
