Before i jump in and buy the expensive Behringer DEQ2496 ( £280 GBP) i read on some forums that they are prone to overheating of the DAC chips and failing or burnt-out PSU .Could this be just rare occurences or is behringer falling behind on quality control (QC) .

If overheating is a issue i would rather find out now before i spend $$$$

I have The DEQ-2496 for over two yaers now.
And not problem at al here.

The price here in the Netherlands for secondhand one is around €150/200
