TS-590SG at the place of a TS-870

I'd like to change my old TS-870 for a new TS-590SG. Do you think that the audio would be as good as (I mean as large as) the 870's?

I wish I could provide a definitive answer to this. But as far as I have HEARD, the '590 is locked in at 3kHz. Not sure if there is any pursuit or experimentation of extending the TX Bandwidth. I still stand solid on the AUDIO performance the '870. Since going full-forward with VIRTUAL Audio/DAW, I've "clocked" my '870 at 5kHz with a TX Shift of 100-3000 (listening an SDR). [Keep in mind, when I used outboard audio gear with a Shift of 100-3000 I was stone-walled at ~4.5kHz].
