The order of things...

Current configuration
Heil PR40 -> DBS 286S -> Behringer ultra link -> DEQ2496 ->DSP2024P -> W2IHY Iplus mic switch->ICOM IC-9700
All input/outputs are left channel
My FM audio is fair, my question for the experts:
1) Is this the optimal order of components
2) Should I be "looping" any channels to others for both R and L mixing
