Glad to hear the both of you had a great honeymoon!! Although, you guys have to come up for air every now and then ;) Tell Mrs. Peaks we all say "Hi, and congratulations", and that "we will try not to keep your hubby up too late at night, but ensure that he makes it to bed at a decent hour ;) "

I will catch you on the band when your back in the saddle my friend.

Man, the one time I do not want to fat finger anything, I write "Mrs. Peaks" instead of Mrs. Peak. I am sorry about that, I will immediately proceed to the whipping pole. Will that be 50 lashes or 100?

Well, I have started to eliminate some of the gear here including the MP  But if things do not improve over the next few weeks with band conditions--which they won't--I will get out of the ESSB Hammy thing all together.

The bands suck shyt, no one plays audio anymore and the flood of BOREDOM has been more than I want to bear. **I turn on the radio at night and it's very poor and noisy conditions with the inclusion of QRMers who have invested money into gear to antagonize groups in their spare time, but have no ballz to admit their identity. Yea.....same ole crap. So I just turn the radio off and get gaming.**

Well, I hate to see you even consider throwing in the towel like that. I imagine that most of us are waiting for the new cycle to get cranking before we come out of the woodwork on a regular basis. With the current cycle still in it's death throws, thus minimal if no sunspots, the bands are going to be crappy. Just a fact in RF science.

As far as the pinhead QRM'rs, it can be fun to mess with them on occasion.

Well, that may be right. But they certainly think twice about QRM'ing anyone ever again

Well Im here, were are you? :) Here in Europe its equally DEAD on all
bands. Then we also have Aurora most of the time so even working locals
is difficult.

Well, lets hope the cycle will change *sooooon* !!

Hey Peter,

Well I am "here" as well, so I guess we are at an impasse

Yep, the bands are pretty much in the toilet till the next cycle finally comes around. Till then, even local contacts over here have to ride the propagation wave. "Riding the wave, waving the big O" as Greg would say. Although I hear from Mike your installing a 10Kw amplifier over there, to include stacked quads. With that combination, you should be able to create your own propagation, as well as knock low flying fowl out of the air

Come on solar cycle, hurry up and get here so we can talk to our Sweden Voodoo Audio Brethren!!!

Take care

Its a Collins 208U-10 and 635W-1 I have, will see when I have it all running.
Needs lots preparing with 7/8 feedlines, quads and power grid. So right now Im
QRP with a LK800NT and dipoles. Will in the nearest weeks put up a small tower
and prolly the new Tennadyne T14...

Yesterday was good here, excellent openings on mainly 20m with 59+++ sigs
from SA. Else it still sux. Im fortune to have a dummyload I can babble in and
test my audio. Been trying CQ's too but so far no answers :)
