Hello to all !!

I'm new in voodoo forum.
I'm Alex, and I live in Canary Islands (Spain).
I have Kenwood TS-2000 and Yaesu FT-1000MP to make hifi-audio.
I have also from Behringer:
Ultra voice digital VX-2496
Composer Pro MDX2200
Ultra Curve DEQ2496
Ultrafex Pro EX3200
Virtualizer Pro DSP2024P
Ultra DI Pro DI-4000 (that I use like adapter, I don't know if that is correct).

I wanted to know what position is better of these components to have a good quality of sound.
I have seen the modifications on EX3200 and it is helpful for me.

Thanks and i hope to ear all on the air !!

Howdy Alex!!
Welcome to the Voodoo Forum.
Glad to have ya here!!

You should be able to make some real nice audio with those rigs and rack units.

This is our opinion on where to start with the order for these units.
There are really 2 orders that you could put these units in.
One way is a simple way that should work great.
The other is a little more complicated but we think would give better performance.

1st order
Ultra voice digital VX-2496
Ultra Curve DEQ2496
Ultrafex Pro EX3200
Composer Pro MDX2200
Virtualizer Pro DSP2024P
Ultra DI Pro DI-4000 (we don't know this unit)

This is 2nd order
Ultra voice digital VX-2496
Ultra Curve DEQ2496 (Left Channel used as an EQ)
Ultrafex Pro EX3200
Ultra Curve DEQ2496 (Right Channel using DEQ for Compressor)
Virtualizer Pro DSP2024P
Ultra DI Pro DI-4000 (we don't know this unit)

We think the DEQ2496 DEQ is a better compressor then the mdx2200 because it uses multibands.
You can find out how to use this and set it up on John's, NU9N site.

OK Hope this helps!
Take Care,

Thanks Sir for this great help !!.

I think that I will begin with the first option.

It's simpler for my than I'm beginning.

I have been time on hifi-audio but I don't have great the audio one.

I will have to know how to connect mixer UB-1002 of all rig to my PC also.

I to be able to make a recording of my audio one.

I hope that soon have other crazy voodoo in Canary Islands

Best regards and take care !!

Welcome to the VooDoo Forum Section Alex. Look forward to hearing you on the air [if the bands ever REALLY improve].

That TS-2000 surprized me last night when I heard Steve KB8GFF on his. He sounds EXACLY like ole Greg [UDX]--you had to hear it to believe it. And I was listening on my MP....so imagine what I would have heard should I have put the 870 back inline.

Be sure to send Mike an audio clip and photos of the shack--we would love to see what you're killin' 'em with.... 8)
