I am looking for a TRX X59 3680 00 for my 950SDX

The radio is in a shop for repair, and was told that on the TRX Board, it needed a couple of 2SA 1204 (y) and a DTC114TK.

I would like to buy a few of each of those, or a functional board if someone has one from a out of service 950SDX. I want to get my 950 back in the shack.

Help, I have fallen and can't get up.

A source for these, if no one here has them would be nice also

Hi Bruce,

That is unusual for those components to fail. The most probable cause for issues on the TRX Unit is the resistor getting too hot and melting the solder on it due to its wattage rating being too small for the current going thru it.

We now usually graft an Axial 1/8w resister in place of the surface mount resister for self cooling proposes.

The 2SA1204-Y transistor crosses over to 2SA1204-F(Y) which is an obsolete part but is still available from Kenwood here:

We're pretty sure of these crosses, but double check to be sure.
