Hi y'all,

I must say I am more than disappointed at the quality of a 309A shock mount for the Electro-Voice RE-20 mic. It says "Made in USA" which I am all for but the quality is pretty bad. Parts are probably not made in USA but only the assembly is done here. Bought it off of eBay and the seller claimed the mount is new and frankly it does look new.

One of the rubber bands that helps "suspend" the mic in the shock just simply snapped on its own accord.

Any ideas on where to get spare bands?

Ask the maker of the mike, they will most likely send you new ones for free

I thought about that too, but luckily the seller emailed telling me that he will mail replacement "shock cords" to me. Glad to see that there are people like that around still : )))
