I do not know how to use a preamplifier for this microphone. Does anyone help?
Well, since it is a condenser-type mic element - you will have to plug the mic into the mic preamp, TURN THE "PHANTOM POWER" SWITCH "ON", and then adjust the mic gain and output knobs up until you are seeing output on the meter.
This mic wouldn't be my choice for Ham broadcast app; but it might work out for you. Never used a 'shotgun' type mic before. Never needed to. For less money spent, you could have gotten a ElectroVoice RE-27. But it should work; just cannot say how well it will work for radio.
