Just got the news that our friend Bill W2ONV, the GodFather of essb faded
away Sunday 12'th of August 2007 3.38PM EDT. Real sad for all hams
listening to this icon on 14.178 for so many years...

I have now mirrored his old webpages and also put the recs I had of him online.
If you have good recordings of him, I'd appreciate getting them and putting
them online. Will make sure these are always on the net in order to remember
this gentleman. Will in due time make a dedicated webpage of him.

Yes, that is the most horrible news.
My condolences, compassion,
and prayers go out to his Family and Friends.
I have talked with him on many occasions and he was always the Gentleman, and had nothing but good things to say.
I will miss him.
