Re: Wanted: TRX Board for TS950SDX

Hi Bruce, That is unusual for those components to fail. The most probable cause for issues on the TRX Unit is the resistor getting too hot and melting the solder on it due to its wattage rating being too small for the current going thru it. Hi guys! I need this Din 8 pin conector. It is completely different . I did not find anyone here in BrasiL that fix in scope terminal in my TS-950SDX and SM-230. I found only 8 pin Din 270 and 262 grades. Any help? 73! We no longer have an SM230 or the cables to look at or compare, but looking at t...

Howdy NKS, Congrats on the Tech Special MKV! Hope you can get it operational soon. We would suggest you get it 100% operational in stock form before any modifications or any major purchases of expensive mod parts like transformers and filters. You can get the JT-11-FLCF directly from Jensen Transfor...

Howdy, Sorry for the big delay in the response, life's issues prevailed. Unfortunately, We've not played in the area of FM. We used to talk to a group in Dallas, TX about 350 miles from here on 2m FM Simplex. That's the avenue they took, tweaking there audio on FM and they had some beautiful audio. ...

Howdy Andy, Sorry for the big delay, but we've had some issues happening here that has diverted our attention. Hopefully in his next year we will have a bigger presence here on the forum. No experience here with the IC-7300. We tend to keep to the older designs without the evil, oppressive DSP circu...

Howdy Chris,
More then likely the problem is with the filter capacitors in the low voltage +-15V power supply. This is a common problem with the Bellari equipment. We have also had problems with the voltage regulator transistor in the high voltage power supply creating hum and noise.

Good Luck!

Howdy Tuner, Welcome to the Forum! We hope you enjoy your stay here. Due to life's unexpected twists and turns, we've not been able to post very much to the Forum. This will hopefully change in the next year. Were not familiar with the FT-897D, but the Data Input jack on most rigs is not a good plac...

Yes, they still exist. We just talked to Alex their Bellari engineer a few days ago and ordered some parts.
Don't know why they are not answering your emails.
Maybe they are not getting them, or maybe you are not getting there replies??

That is the first I have heard of it.
I take it you meant you were listening on 3630, you wrote 3360.

Only thing I could think of is if conditions were real long, the stations you heard were close together so they might have all been listening to a remote SDRweb receiver.

Re: Use of ACC2 for original purpose

Does the cap mod prevent the ACC2 connection from being used for data modes? My assumption is that the change in audio characteristics should have no effect on data modes therefore not requiring any de-mod or switching. Howdy and welcome to the Forum! Unfortunately due to a QTH move and other life ...

Hello Cor,
Your antivirus or email provider probably killed it thinking it was a virus.
It was uploaded to the server here and this is the link. You should be able to download it directly then unzip it.

http://www.wz5q.net/manuals/tcelectronic/TriC2024.zip

Try that.

Hello Cor,
Yes it looks like they removed this from their website.
An email was sent with a Zip file that contains the Firmware Update.
The instructions are included in the program.
Let us know if that helps ya out.

Howdy kb2whb, In our experience, regardless of whether the Balanced Cable uses a TRS or XLR connector on the ends, if it is wired as Balanced then they are effectively the same. As a preference, we like the XLR connectors, but they both work very well. Some rack units have so many Input and Outputs ...
