Howdy Sergio!! ..............................................It has 2 channels where you could use the first channel as a downward expander after the mic preamp to remove the background noise, then use the channel 2 for compression functions after the ex3200 and EQ.....................................

ALC qusetion

I now have audio rack into ACC socket on back of TS 870. Carried out C131 mod (Thanks for the info on this btw, copied your method exactly). I realise mic gain is now not working or required, the monitor still works and audio sounds fab. But does the ALC metre still work? Is it still relevant? It ap...

Leads

Why are they all so blimmin long? I went to buy a couple of XLR leads and I couldnt find one less than 2 metres long! Its a nuisance for the rack as it looks a mess at the back.

I reckon I'll start a campagne for "rack leads" and not "stage leads"

So you would think that those that use these bands would be on some kind of free for all. Not so. Freebanding is very self regulating, ther...

Its a linear amplifier, fairly rare uses a 3-500z valve. Good for slightly under 500w FM/AM Is it possible, or even likely, to be able to uprate this amp? Source a different valve which uses similar voltage etc.? I have found through internet searching that some have used a 4400 valve, but what is t...

Still only way is up from here :) We've had some conditions here but very sporadic, even the summer saw le...

Thank you very much indeed for that quick response, I cant stretch to a RE20 or RE27, just a bit too far out of my price range tbh Around $600 or £350 here. But I am now going to get the Pro 40 as you have also suggested is a good mic :) Will do some research on parametric EQ's Will keep you all inf...
